There's nothing like grandkids to pull you out of the blues! I wasn't really up to sewing anything when Miss Ava called to talk to me yesterday. we talked about her trick or treating & if papa & I were coming up to see them (not this time) & then she asked if I could make Miss Belle a new pair of pj's for Christmas. Just the push I needed. I tried my hand @ this tiny bit of edging & I really like it for the sleeves. Then I used 2 strips to make the front bodice part. I think it fancy's it up & will definitely do it again. Thanks to all the cuties who helped me figure out that I could hoop more then one strip of lace @ a time, although I didn't really need much, a new learning curve for me.

Miss Belle will love these ,too. Is her Miss Belle an American Girl Doll? Kay

This doll's pj's look adorable& sure to bring a smile to Miss Ava too. Grammies can do just about anything they put their hearts& minds to. That's a new thought for me to consider as my son &his wife told us they're expecting recently. Wondered if Miss Ava will be desiring a pair of matching pj's or not? That is so beautiful. She will love it. Don't you just love it when they believe you can do anything. One of my grand daughters lives 4,000 klms away and told her Mum she just has to come visit as her ballet bag strap needs fixing and only Nanny knows how to do it right. Makes you feel special.

Nothing like GD to pull you up and get you productive again. Very cute PJ with beautiful lace. Note to self - Try lace. I must get to work by Lil' Chloe doesn't need pj she needs a 'theater dress' for Christmas. You have given me the push.
