It feels like Christmas with my household goods coming out of storage. It's been over a year and they will be delivered tomorrow. I can even have the guys unpack the boxes. I'm sooo excited!!! I look at the sewing room and wonder which machines first. It's funny. I have the whole entire house to arrange and all I can think about is the sewing room and doing some new embroidery projects!! Gotta have priorities. LOL

When we moved last year I too wanted to do the sewing room first but hubbie would have none of it.
I did use it as my bolt hole when things became overwhelming in the rest of the house. Great stress relief :-)

What surprises you may find after your possessions being packed for that long. If you do your sewing room first, other things may take some time to sort. Have fun with your machines, a lot would have changed over time and am sure you will find lots and lots of new designs you just cannot wait to try. Pace yourself as it is a tiring time unpacking and sorting. Sandra.

I can't imagine spending a whole year without my toys -no idea how you coped for that long. I wish you lots of joy in revisiting your favourite hobbies and maybe adding some new techniques, as some things will have come into vogue in that time :)

I kept my small brother machine to hold me over. My husband had a pelican hard case that it fit in and that little thing has been by my side everywhere. Lol

If you set up sewing first, how will you ever do the other? Don't forget to oil your machines, if they require that.

Yes! Thank you. Totally forgot about checking the mechanics on the machines first.
