JE pense que vous êtes , toi et ton mari, deux BELLES personnes qui on travaillé ( argent mais aussi en étant de belles personnes) pour avoir cet endroit de rêve. Je suis très heureuse de votre bonheur. Ça vous va bien, et vous le méritez.
Une belle balade sur la rivière, après souper....avec plein de gens qui vous enverront la main du fond de leur cour...OU encore, tu enverras la mais à ceux qui passent...ah ah

A wrap-around porch. Both my DH and I love this feature but have never had it in the 5 houses we have owned at one time or another. I am jealous but happy for you. Love the river view - so peaceful.

Part one of the sewing room worked on yesterday, we had some water treatment equipement moved so as to make more space for my sewing room. It will be in the basement as ''Happy'' needs to be on solid ground. The vibrations are mot good for house structure so don't want it on the main floor and this way I get a lot more room. There are 3 windows down there and the electrican comes in next week so I will get lots of lighting added.
It will be spectacular and hopefully not take to long to complete.
BTY, hubby purchasedthe riding mower with the house

Beautiful legs, that is because you are not seeming them up close lol. This is the Yamaska River and it is a slow running river where we will be able to canoe, kayak, small motor boating or just watch others do it all. I am not sure I will venture out other than in a small boat. We have a beautiful landing at the bottom of our lot to get on the river. We are high enough that flooding is never a problem so that is another plus. This is just everything we could ever have dreamed of and it is ours, God has spoiled us and we are soooooo grateful,

Are you in Canada? What a stunning house and view. Love the big verandah's on the front. I would have my machine on wheels so I could enjoy the view while working, I can just imagine how inspiring it would be for you as your creative flair always impresses me.

Yes we are near Montréal, Québec.
Machine on wheels could be more work than it is
worth but I will definetly be taking more breaks during the day which is a good thing.
Hubby is over the moon, he purchased a new chainsaw yesterday and is like a kid with a new toy. Can't believe he is becoming a lumberjack lol,

The inside is pretty nice as well other than the kitchen which is the only downside of the new house. Before we purchased it though I had hubby agree that we would renovate it and this means than I get the kitchen of my dreams after I get the sewing room of my dreams. Can't get any better thn that,

We live 45 minutes South of Montréal, Canada. It is worlds apart from where we were living before and only 15 minutes further away from the big city. It is heaven.

WOW, this is GRAND--love the location and river view--I could sit there peacefully and watch anything or nothing for hours.

We moved here from the city where we had a 5000 square foot lot and now we have 49000 sq, ft. so it is quite a change.
We are not on the side of the road, the house is located down a private little road about 400 ft. from the main road so it it very private. We are amazed at the tranquility we have here.

yes and we are lucky because we see the river from almost every room in the house (except the kitchen and we will renovate that so we can). My sewing room will be in the basement and I am o.k. with that as I will have more room. With my ''Happy'' machine it is better for the structure of the house if it is on concrete.
