4th August 2015.Two years ago you were very interested in the photo of the flower of Xanthorrhoea or grass tree which was 14ft long. These photos are of another one which was a triple header when bought but seems to be only a twin now.

The flower on the left appeared in April 2014 & the right one in August 2014.The one one the left fell off last month & was 9ft tall ,it survived Aprils east coast low ( category 2 cyclone) intact where as a very large Banksia 2 doors down, fell down.
Photo 1 ;Twin headed grass tree
Photo 2; 2 flower spears
Photo 3; First spear May 2014

It seems to have rained nearly every day since April.Although its winter the weeds have flourished & last weekend it was 25C so there is a rush to get everything done before the shade cloth goes up to protect the plants from the hot summer sun
