I had carpal release surgery on my hand yesterday so now that I am off from work and would have time to sew I can't because I can't use a scissors or hoop anything. Life is cruel! Well I can still peck out one letter at a time on my computer so not all is bad.

Get well soon and do not push too hard!

Thank you all for the get well wishes. I am seeing progress already. One of my friends who had this surgery had given me some very negative feedback based on her experience so I was a bit apprehensive but I can see that my experience will be different than hers. In fact I am doing so well that it is tempting to push the boundaries.

You will soon feel the benefit. I had both hands done about ten years ago. It was a great success. Just do not try and do too much too soon.

You can still plan out your projects using your software and have them ready to go when your can hoop again. I have stacks of kitchen towels ready to stitch with matching fabric borders and the printed out design pined to them. Now if I just had time to work on them without being un interrupted Kay.

I have been busy ordering the vinyl, snap tabs and rings that I will need when I can do the new key fob designs that I've downloaded.

Be good and you will heal quickly! I had both mine done about 25 years ago and they are nearly ready to be done again, but I don't think that is bad going.

Ouch and double ouch! I'm so sorry you can't play as you would like. I guess you can spend some time catching up on movies you want to see instead and sitting and admiring God;s beautiful creation. I'm grateful you will be able to swim again in 2 weeks.

Thank you. Besides not being able to sew, I can't swim either and that really bums me out. I wont be able to go into the pool for two weeks. Normally I swim at least 3 times a week. I am going to be so bored.

Time to read some good books

You can still walk in the pool. Take a book and do laps!

Good suggestion, I thought of doing that but it just isn't the same.
