Those are the benefits of age. Thank you. The weekend is almost here. Have a great day. Hugs
Thanks I understand this quote so much better now that I'm older.
This is a wiser comment than many understand, as it is only through experiencing opposites that we can fully appreciate all that comes in living our lives: light, darkness: good vs evil: joy, sorrow: health, sickness: pleasure, pain and learning to make better choices... not what is the easier path or the path that gives us the biggest payoff in this world, as we learn to control our own bodies, and to learn to follow the plan that Christ has outlined for us. May we each try to do a little better each day and appreciate just how far we have each come, and all we have already learned. I was taught, that the wisdom and knowledge that we gain through our lives, is one of the very few things, that will remain with us into the here after. It is also a whole lot easier if we can remember what it is, that we have learned, while going through our various trials, so that we hopefully do not have repeat trials, going through something once, is hard enough. Also it is easier to learn from the trials that those around us go through, not everything needs to be experienced first hand and we may also learn to avoid those areas that are prone to certain kinds of trials. Several here have taught me that I do not need to stitch over any of my fingers, that stilettos work for when you need more control in front of the needle, and to stitch slow enough to keep my fingers out of harms way, is a lesson I have taken to heart! Thank you Gerry for all your uplifting posts. Pam
