Can anyone tell me please why my thread is skipping? Or maybe jumping is the right word?

Jerrilyn had the answer. If I start having trouble the needle is first thing I change and I keep that needle case cleaned out all the time/Lillian

I'm like Jerrilyn Loralye - plus I also put in a new needle, check the tension hasn't moved etc. etc. Good luck, love Chris

Have you rethreaded and cleaned out the bobbin area? Usually the first steps I try.
