EDITED 3 hours later- Got the 2nd one made off the U-tube sq bottom- Recognize Avery's poncho Pul fabric?-I put a piece of fleece on backside of outer fabric, just to give body and did some wide stitch lines to hold in place. It is fully lined too. It would not sit up without water in bottle. The straps took me the longest time.I made a 'casing' of Pul and Ribbon (time consuming). This one is also a bit taller.-Toogie ****It was suggested to me by the mayor a few weeks ago, to make some water bottle carriers, for the next monthly fair. Here's my first try at it. You may recognize this material from my crossbody bag. I pretty much followed the size and instructions of this site, link below- I did however, make the same fabric strap about 60" but adjustable. I do find the bottle is a little snug, but at least it won't fall out easily and because of the height, you can easily drink without taking it out of the holder. (I think I should quilt a piece of fabric FIRST and then cut to these measurements, so it will slip in and out easily) It sits up very well and this is an empty bottle. I did not use the insulbrite, but 2 layers of fleece instead. I also padded my straps. ...There is also a squared bottom one on U-tube, made out of rubber-backed curtain fabric, that would go much faster than trying to quilt and make this one. I may give it a try.-Toogie

Hi Toogie, As I read through all the Cuties comments I had an idea for a multi size bottle pouch(holder). Could you make it larger so as it will fit all bottles and have a drawstring top opening on it. Thankyou for sharing. Regards Lorraine of South Australia

Also you could try some with elastic at the neck.
Best of luck in your booth.

this is terrific Toogie. If you have already pre-washed your fabric (I rarely do) then the fit will be the same after they wash it, if not you might want to make it a wee bit bigger to allow for the fabric to shrink.........but chances are you already knew that. Bev's idea is super & a great selling idea too, you will have to update us on this sale too. ~hugs~

not to mention there are many different water bottles out there so it will fit one of them or more

The bottled water I had was Dasani brand,20 ozs. My fabrics are pre-washed, it was the quilting that shrunk it. That's why I say I will cut larger, quilt it, then cut to size.Bev had a super sells idea. Between her and my son-in-law, I could just stay home and sew, and they could sell them for me!-lol

Actually, not my idea. I also saw a Cutie had posted one here that she embroidered and that made me remember the mayors idea, suggestion.
