The wallet itself can be done pretty quickly if there is no or little embroidery involved like applique maybe!
The construction is not as lengthy as a purse.....try the youtube tutorial!

I told her I made them and my medicine bag. She asked about me, making her a set, just like them. I told her the wallet I made, I don't want to make again, too time consuming for the little I would get. She said she would buy my whole set today and I could dump all my stuff in a grocery bag!-lol...I came home with my set!

Unfortunately in the pics colours dont appear exactly same. ...the wallet is dark grey denim with grey embroidery!

I have the ITH checkbook design from FivestarFonts and I love it, That could be adapted to make a wallet, but it wouldn't all be done in the hoop if you wanted to add more features like credit card slots, extra pockets etc.
