Oh what bliss. After now a month of evening load shedding DH decided he was fed up. Yesterday he came home with an inverter and a battery, so at least we can watch our favorite programs when the power is off. I am doing the happy dance

Good for him, my hubby made up a small light bulb connected to a car battery. TV stays off, radio is battery operated, so listen that. Have a gas top stove, so still can cook. Hugs Maureen

Hi Sarah, yes it is just as bad here in Durban, it goes off when it is time for Survivor as well as Master Chef Australia, so have to find when they repeat the shows and hope it does not go off again then.
