These designs come from 'purplehat'. She calls them wet wipe bags, but we can no longer get the small packs of wet wipes, so I use them for tissues. They are made in the hoop and are really quick and easy things to make for gifts.

Very nice - How is the zipper done ITH?

Thank you. You start with hooped 'stitch 'n tear' and the first step is a placement line for the zip. Then you put the zip down, face up and the machine stitches the zip to the 'stitch 'n tear'. The zip is bought longer that you need it and at the end you trim away the top and bottom of the zip. Then you lay down one folded side, then the other and so on. The trick is to remember to pull the zip down to open it before you attach the backing of the bag.

Thank you. You used to be able to get a small pack of wet wipes in their own packaging which fits into this bag. *4U

They look padded - are they? They do make lovely gifts I agree.

Thank you. Yes there is a layer of thin compressed batting which gives it that padded look. *4U
