Fixed up an older pair of partly worn out slacks. Had to cut off just below the waistband and replace - wasn't sure what to use and then decided on why not ribbing and put elastic in it. Then it had a hole near the top so used a good part from the waistband I cut off to patch from the back and then add a design to it. As originally I had a spot like a cut just above the knee, I did the same. Here is the result.

I am also going to see if I can find some sort of swirl to go with it and put it from one to the other. Wala! New pair of slacks!
Hope you like!

This was a lot of work and if they are a comfy pair you like I can see you saving. Neat design fix for your blemish spots.

They are extremely comfy - slinky fabric - moves with you. I've worn out a couple pairs of black and a pair of capris.

a great way to upcycle a pair of not worthy pants into designer originals! ~hugs~

Thanks - I really like how they are turning out. I think I may have found a design with low stitches to flow between both flowers to join them.

Actually the design was a small one and fit the spot perfectly and doesn't have a lot of stitches. I have a hard time with pants fitting me and these were good and sitting at the bottom of my closet and figured I'd play with them for practice as it is th slinky fabric so very stretchy and comfy.
