A friend of mine lost her 17 years old son years ago. Last year she asked me to make little teddy bears out of his spring jacket. (Her son would be 40 today, and she had kept the jacket all these years) She wanted her other three grown up children to have a teddy bear. Her son's name was Teddy. So, I took the jacket apart and used every inch of the fabric including lining to make these. Note the little tag on one pocket. That was from the tag on the inside of the collar. I was very nervous doing this project. But when my friend cried of joy, I was so glad I made them for her.

You did a splendid job making these. All three of them have their own expression, partly due to the fabric. It always amazes me that using the same pattern still leads to slightly individual characteristics. Hallmark of handmade items, I think.
