Love when I don't have to make the item AND embroider! Fabulous idea!!! Off to the dollar store! LOL
Thank you very much. Was in wreck and had bad burn on my neck were the seat belt was.If I would have had this it may not been so bad.Sure do like this idea.
Wow you can stitch on anything! Lol! gotta try it, I have a bad habit of not wearing it because it rubs me the wrong way!
Hi Carolyn, this is such an easy project for us all to do.....now that you have thought of it ! -LOL My husband is the complainer about the seat belt strap in his old hunting truck,so I guess I should make him one.Thanks-Toogie

Smarty pants...very clever, let us know how they work....
Hugs Jerri
Very clever idea..This is why this site is so handy!!!All have different ideas and making use of the designs!!!!Love it
Loving the project. Don't know about you but I'm short and the seat belt hits my neck under my chin. Don't see that happening on taller people. This is a great idea. I have a purchased one so may make a couple for the other cars.
I have woollen ones on my seat belt as I hate it cutting into my neck. You just basically wrap it around the belt near and mine are velcroed - dead easy. Love Chris
P.S. Love this idea Carolyn, so useful. You have a mindfield of great ideas!
thats what i hate to Chris i used to have a plastic thing there but Mr. Peeko chewed it lol
Great idea!! Do you think the seat belt would have fit lengthwise or do you think the potholder is too narrow? And, do you have any hints on sewing on Velcro???? Hugs to you, Laura*
no and no just sewed the Velcro with width of the potholder to make it strong!!Easy pesey!!!
love the idea of how it is made, but could someone please tell me how it is used on a seatbelt? picture would be great if you have one. tia betty
Just fold it around the strap where it is in contact with your neck, then close it up...
thanks, have never seen one before. the way it is folded would be great for a frying pan handle cover too.
Woo hoo.......being a hot pad, it will also help them from being burned by road ragers........LOL! This is a terrific idea, Carolyn!
How clever of you. I make covers for curling irons out of Dollar store potholders. Basicly the same idea but I sew them shut.
Oh, Carolyn, you never cease to amaze me...brilliant!
Creative mind at work again.. Love the idea and my gray matter would not have come up with this idea.. Love it.. Thanks for the inspiration.
I think you a very creative and full of great ideas!
