Baby Quilt - no embroidery in this one - just plain sewing and my first project with my new-to-me Pfaff Grand Quilter 1200. The blanket is for a young man who was due to arrive in December, but has already made his entrance. He was born at 1 pound but is expected to survive and come home on or around his due date. The quilt was made for a client and I had it almost done when I heard about his birth. The back is minky as I wanted something nice and warm for winter months.

Good news on the little boy. My great nephew was very early and is doing just fine now at age 6. This will be treasured.

Great news about the baby. My daughter Amy's friend had a baby at 26 weeks and he survived! He is still petite, but growing stronger every day. May the little boy you speak about grow up to be a strong and healthy child. Great job for your first project on your new machine. Love Chris
