No sewing for me this week.

I wanted a knit felted cozy for my stainless insulated water bottles, so I decided to just try it without a pattern. As you can see, it turned out a little short after felting.

Well I made another cozy for the other water jug. Trial and error, I added a few extra stitches and an dozen extra rows. The problem with felting is I never know how much it's going to shrink down. Kind of sucks not having a pattern to follow but I guess that's how I learn. I'm very pleased with the end results, I now have a perfect fit and will make a few more for my daughters bottles..

These are very cool or should I say dry! LOL Nicely done MaryAnn & I think that's I how I learn too! I can send you my water bottle too, I just got a steel one & it gets wet on the outside YUK so this is a great idea too! Hugs Loralye

I love the bottles as they are insulated. I just add ice and water and it stays cold all day but the outside sweats, so I hope this felted cover stops the sweating.
