Just beautiful. Hope we get to see the finished project soon.
This is lovely. I hope that you did post a picture of the finished project. I want to see it.
Just to update on the inset, we got it attached and washed and my friend is so excited, she is just waiting for it to dry so she can try it on and then we can get a picture of the finished Tee - the WSS washed away without a problem, I was a little concerned with it being on a black top, but not a mark on it...
Wow!! I want to see the finished Tee & where did u get the design? *4U
Hi lbrow, thanks, the design is from a CD by Eileen Roche - Designs in Machine Embroidery (The Little Black Tee) Embroider it yourself - WWW.EMBROIDERITYOURSELF.COM
Wow Glenda - it turned out wonderful and now I see it - I do want to stitch one out - so you do it - just like FSL - no material what so ever? Great work and I can't wait to see it inserted into your tee and then the finished project on your friend. *4U
It is quite a fascinating process Shirlene as you do the two top sides, then the bottom then you hoop Floriani Wet N Gone Tacky (great product, first time I've used it)stitch your outline for the center piece stick down the 3 pieces in their marked place and stitch the center to bring it all together.
Very beautiful work - I look forward to seeing the finished Tee. *4U
Thanks Shirley, will get a picture of the finished tee up as soon as it is complete..
vey nice how do you attach this to a t. * for you
thanks ezzemml, it is attached to the tee with the a fine zig zag WSS still on. There is a video comes with the CD, not sure if the video is on the site, check out the address in one of my replies..
This is a beatifull design. Who is an author ?
Thank you jarmilazel, this is a design by Eileen Roche you can see the CD here http://devdesigns.dzgns.com/shopp...;cPath=64
Finally - my dear friend said that she would like something different to wear to a wedding, I suggested I make her a FSL inset for a black tee, I didn't realize what I had gotten myself in for...This is made in four sections, right top side 22523 sts. 65 mins., left top side, bottom section 29676 sts. 87 mins and then the center attaches it all together another 23415 sts 68 mins. The WSS is still attached as you have to stitch the inset onto the tee and then wash away the WSS. Think you might want to try one Shirlene...
Glenda - I am so happy to see this here - at this point - great work - I have noticed that Nancy Zieman has been wearing tee's like this (in many different colors) in the last couple issues of Designs in Machine Embroidery, too!
Hi Shirlene, thought you might like to see it at this stage. Anne, my friend, had seen Nancy wearing one in a recent issue and that decided her on this design and color as she preferred the contrast rather than black on black.
