I posted my first few in projects when this first came out. Thanks so much for this design. I have made over 20 so far, they are so fun. When I'm stiching a test pattern, I always turn it into one of these little purses if the pattern is small. No more waste!
Love the purse. O.K. I have been challenged. I shall make this tomorrow (Friday) (I think I can, I think I can) to take to Mega Conference on Monday. Everyone will adore it. Stella
My first ITH completed. I shrunk it to fit my hoop, size will hold credit cards, license, etc.....so much fun! thanks for a great design! and getting me to try something new! Debra
Thanks, I will do that, fairly new to this site, and still trying to figure it out! Thanks to all for great designs that are FREE!
I will have to be like the little engine that could. I will try this for my GD age 5, she loves purses.
I just got a large piece of ultra suede at a garage sale last week--it will be perfect for this little purse. Thanks so much for creating it.
sue i love all your ith items. can u please do a bag for a 4x4 hoop? just a nice square is ok. thank you for yr beautiful designs. lynne
Taking your challange! This looks like the perfect little bag to caarry in my golf bag and I already have the fabric. thanks for the cute design and good instructions.
Just love it! Was easy and will do another with my five-year-old granddaughter, letting her choose the fabric and extra wording (which will probably be her name above your design! Thanks from Quebec,Canada!
Thanks so much - have just been given a bunch of scarves which will be ideal for this!
thank-you for this very useful design and for the helpful instructions - sometimes it's fun to actually make something instead of just decorating things that are ready-made.
Thank you so much for the purse and especially for your detailed instructions with photos. I guess I'm a 'visual' learner so if I see it I can usually make it. This is perfect. Thanks.
Thanks Sue excelant directions as usual . I will give them a go. Thanks so much for sharing this great project. Hugs Joyce
this is a great project....made one yesterday and it was so easy...thanks so much for all you do...
DL the jef format and the last color wouldn't stitch. Going to dl in the pes format and convert to jeft format and see if that will let me complete this cute little purse. Will keep everyone informed.
Don't know why the last color wouldn't stitch for me. I converted the pes format to jef format and it stitched fine. Thank you for your generosity in giving us all of the designs that you have. I appreciate it.
Thank you Sue - I will certainly be making more of these. I would like to try batting and quilting...........
Just made one, first of many. These could not be easier and take just minutes. Thank you Sue. I will add a magnetic closure to mine.
Bev
Sue, looks fun & easy. However, must admit I do not know how to download the instructions. Is there a step I am not seeing? I saved the design and opened in my emb software, but no instructions of course. Does anyone have the secret? Truly appreciate the talent of all contributors.
I open a word document and do a copy and paste. Then I save it to the same place as where I saved the design. There isn't a step that you are missing,
Welcome to cuties. You will love it here. Be sure to look around and keeping asking questions.
Thanks for the help momhome. Did the copy, paste and saved to my design files. Only problem I need to figure out is how to delete the unnecessary pages with all of cuties comments, 48 pages for file. New learning curve. Have a happy St. Patty's.
You should be able to just select anything you don't want (colour it in by dragging your mouse across it), hit delete and resave the document in its new form.
Sue, you must be good at doing all sorts of puzzles! I can't wait to try this! I think I'm going to try this today! Thank you also for the step by step directions! hugs, Jan
Made this today what a FAST n EASY design to make and SOOO CUTE!! Great Instrucstions!! Thank You very much for allowing us to download this design!! xoxo
very nice and easy only made one mistake didn't pull elastic to right side and now it is on the inside oh well I will cut it off and leave off button. Next one will be right. Thanks
What a great Job. My machine will only do 4x4 designs. I have the bigger hoop, but have never run across a design that it would accept.
If you ever make one of these for the smaller hoop, I'd love to try it out.
Great job again. *4U
WOW thanks sew much for your time and talent on this project. Gotta try one for DGD. Grannieannie
Hi is there a division inside or am I being really stupid I have just made one and love it ...thank you very much.....xxx
Looks beautiful. Can't wait to try and make these. Was wondering how big the actual outline purse is once it is finished as I don't see any size. Thanks so much for being so generous.
I just love this ITH-purse and already made five of them. It looks very nice with "Katulle's heart-in-hand-design" (exchanged for "my stuff"), embroidered on black velvet with metallic thread ("hand" in gold or silver) as well. I am going to sew a lot of these purses as easter-presents with a bag of tissues for runny noses inside.
Thanks again for it!
Best regards from Christine from Bavaria (Germany).
Ooh! Sue this looks fabulous - I might just have to try this out on the weekend! Love and blessings Chris
Thanks Sue. I might add that instead of sewing a loop, use the thick elastic hair bands, You can buy them in packs of differnt colors to suit. Just a thought :) Oh and Meg if you read this, I have already picked the fabric out for you to make when you come down... :)
HA HA HA! Do you really think you'll get some sewing done? I bet you talk for hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope that you do though anyway. Love to you, Chris
thank you so much - I've been wanting to try something like this - can't wait for my machine to come back from the shop so I can get started!
Thank YOU ! I have only tried one other bag with a zipper and it was not to bad just I was terrafied id messed it up but it wasent too bad im willing to keep trying !

Christine

What a wonderful gift! Thanks so very much, Sue, I really appreciated it! Hugs and *'s.
Thank you! I am now officially hooked on ITH !
I will post my new purse in projects. It took me longer to find the button loop than it did to sew the purse.
it is GD purse time again. I made out hoop with some embroidery last year and this year I will go for this. Thank you you made my day!
Thank you for such a versatile design . You are just to good to us.
thank you again
Marvelous. Thank you for sharing with us. You sure have learned to digitize wonderfully with amazing speed. You give the rest of us hope.
Thanks for the great directions and design files. These will be nice to have on hand when an unexpected gift is needed.
I really like this. I can see how much work you put into posting this with all the photos and instructions. Thank you so much!
Sue how generous to share this purse......it might even get me to try my hand at making this.........
I love your Purse.
The only thing is I can't find the Pattern for it and no pattern for the inside lining for the pocket and now markings where to put the elastic. I didn't know their was elastic till I read the comments.
Saying all that, so sorry I have never made anything in the hoop.
Will someone help me out on where to find the pattern.
Thanks Bev in Ohio
