Many of you asked me to post a picture of my "new" mantle when it was all done, sew here it is! We could not find the right stain to match the bottom to the top & the bottom was done some time ago sew our SIL suggested that we make our own stain & this is what we came up with! I think it was a great idea! I think that this is a wonderful present for me from dh

Ooh! Loralye it is gorgeous. I've always wanted a fireplace, unfortunately in my home there is no place to have one. Actually I think the coldest day we had here this year was about 13.5C (about 56F). I've only had the heating part of the airconditioner on twice. I love the cold, but the airconditioner during the summer is a different matter. I've already had it on about 4 or 5 times! I love all the Christmas decorations you have up - makes it look very festive. Love and blessings and have a very Merry Christmas and happy New Year, love Chris

I have a small collection of Dreamcicles & many of the angels that you see here I have made over the yrs, including the porcelain ones & the one in the very front with all that lace is one that I did as well. even the hodge podge reindeer I did some yrs ago. Hugs Loralye
