I never did understand the old Victorian practice of all linens having the maiden monogram and after marriage the husband's monogram. Those poor ladies were working on hope chest for years.

Thank you Marji. Only having a 4x4 hoop I had to keep moving the letters until they fitted the hoop. Having them angled was not my original intention!!!

Thank you Yvonne. I think there is one size bigger in the font but I will run into trouble as these letters gave me a hard time fitting them into my 4x4 hoop.

I did do a trial run first on a piece of towelling but it was nothing like the thickness of the towels. I also used a new needle for each towel. Thank you for comment.
