My oldest stepgrandson is getting married (finally) and this is for his daughter (great grand). I can't remember who the fabric is by but it was quite expensive. The Elegant Applique font is from MCA.

Thanks Lulu, no I didn't get it at Joann's. I found the selvage in the trash and it is from Timeless Treasures. I bought it from Mary Jo's in NC.

The fabric looks like peacock tails. I think it is beautiful and you did a great job on this pillowcase dress. I'm sure your great grand-daughter will love it. Is she going to wear it to the wedding?

Yes, it is peacock tails with gold thread running through as part of the feathers. Marlee will wear this as her reception dress. She is wearing white at the wedding.

thank you. I think it does look exquisite too. It's amazing what you can do with a simple PC dress. I guess it goes to show what fabric selections can do to a plain pattern. :)
