My favorite girls...the gardening sunbonnets from Eileens Digi Delights! I actually had her resize this set to the 5x7 for me because I just love these girls! Anyhow, I was in our Goodwill last Sunday and found this very large and wide roll of embossed vintage wallpaper, with a blush pink and white floral design. It's a heavier paper, with a mesh like backing. Huge roll...$1.50! I'm a vintage wallpaper collector and have rolls that I have paid over $100.00 each for! So...this was a steal! I loved the heaviness of the paper and because I've already tried embroidering on some of my old papers, which worked, but needed some tweaking, I knew this would hold up much better...plus I liked the design. I've always loved the old silhouette pictures, where they used old wallpaper as a background. So...this is what I came up with! The picture frames are from the dollar store...just wanted an old frame look, like they used to use. I really like the way these turned out!

I bought these from Eileens Digi Delights on ebay. She has some realllyyyy cute designs, so beware! And, if she has not indicated in an auction, they are available in a 5X7, which she resized for me a couple weeks ago! I'm glad you like them!!

you may want to list some of those on ebay as well! some wallpapers sell for lots of $$$$$$$

kkcogle by kkcogle 17 May 2008

just a side note...look for a heavier paper, the stitches stay on top better. on some of my "paper" like wallpapers, the stitches kinda sunk.
