I drew him from a photo and then digitised from that; this was originally intended for her birthday card but I decided to frame it instead so I embroidered a border round it using my machine's fancy stitches and then got a cheap frame from the supermarket which I think finishes it off just nicely. I hope she likes it : it's her birthday (83rd) in two weeks but I don't think I can wait that long to see her face when I give it to her!
