Humpty Dumpty

Hoop stabiliser. Choose your own colours.

Add a layer of egg coloured felt and stitch colour 1.

Lay a second piece of fabric (not necessarily felt) over the left hand half of the egg shape and stitch colour 2. Trim away the excess fabric on th neck edge.

The next 4 colours stitch his features and collar.

Add a layer of felt beneath the hoop before stitching colour 7. Remove hoop from machine and, without damaging the stabiliser,carefully trim away the excess fabric around the edge and the finger holes.

The last two colours will satin stitch the edges.

Remove from hoop and remove stabiliser (and any fluffy bits!)
