Uganda Project quilt #4. I have been slow because both my mother and mother in law were hospitalized on the same day in critical condition with very different issues. Both are still in the hospital, but I took tonight to finish an idea and take a break from the stress and exhaustion.

I was watching a special on the Uganda orphans on the hospital TV. How very sad. I had no idea that things were THAT bad for these poor kids! Those kids are going to need all the help they can get to even get by!!

Thank you so much for the prayers. I don't know if either one will make it any other way. Quilting is my sanity! To create helps me live!!

My Goodness this is such a beautiful design!! However did you do that?? Oh MY! That is going to make your little orphan Think! It's very mathematical and amazing! I"m so sorry you had both your Mother and your MIL in the hospital at the same time tooo. Was it the same hospital? I hope they are doing better.
When you consider these orphans have nothing, these quilts are going to blow them away! Thanks for all your hard work for them! God Bless You, Deanna
Hugs, Jan

Would you believe that I did this design because I didn't have enough fabric to do a whole Dresden plate? I just had to get creative!! I wish I could see the little ones with their new security blankets! ...not the same hospital. :(

A close up of some of the decor. Most of the design was made using a Dresden Plate template and yoyos. Fortunately, I was able to work on that while sitting down, with needle and thread.
