There is no batting, so it was very easy to just put the top and back together and then do a little quilting to keep the layers together.

54617A beautiful quilt. I am sure the snowman will be quite a talking point. Without ever seeing snow, they will not comprehend it at all. I remember when my children were small and they would look at the pictures on Christmas cards and wonder what the "white stuff" was. Sarah.

I had a friend in Texas when I was growing up, who had never seen snow before. She wondered if it was what was inside the sides of the freezer. Kids have wonderful imaginations. I would love listen in to that conversation. :)

Thank you. I've worked with a lot of kids over the years. I know that they love to hear about things previously unknown to them. It is great fodder for young imaginations. So while they might not understand it, it will be an introduction to something new and different...I hope. :)
211078how cute. A "Where's Waldo?" quilt would be fun for the kids, only you can name it what ever you wanted and put different objects for them to hunt. Example: the fabric that has scenery and different fruits, flowers, shoes, etc... You have done a wonderful job here, and you certainly are a speedy gonzales. LOL... It takes me too long to make one, I'm too methodical.LOL...
