This is what I make with my smaller samples of embroidery,I give them as small gifts in birthday card.They are to use as a mug mat ,I cut the top and 1 layer of batting the same size with a 5" hexagon and the backing fabric 1" bigger on all sides.I turn under 1/2" and then again to the front , and hand sew them down,I usually have a pile cut ready for sewing ,when we go away in out caravan, its a nice easy little project

It must be time for Blue Willow. My missing Towel Toppers were also Blue Willow. Where is this design from?
