I like it nice fall colors

The design works really well with the towel colors. Looks nice to me.

If you really don't like it, instead of cutting it off, cover it with material to match the towel design. Embroider it before attaching to towel. Just a thought. I hope you find a solution that you like whether you leave it and use it or redo it. Good Luck!
