I think yours came out looking better than mine Pat - certainly the pistil centre.

Pat, you didn't say if your machine made a loud (very loud) knocking when making the stamens and centre parts.

I'm still waiting for a reply from Anne-Marie but reading very good tips to others, I'm wondering if I should have slowed the maching down.

Yes Jean, it certainly knocked loud ! I was waiting for the needle to break. I
think the knocking was caused by the
needle continually going over the same
place, I think if the needle only had to
go over the end of the stamens a couple
of times, it would have been okay, but
then, it wouldn't have looked like it
was meant to look. I'll be glad when
Annemarie answers your call.I slowed my
machine down, but it didn't help.
