I hate to say I remember this song ... how old is it? Thanks for posting - good job.
Also, didn't this have something to do with San Francisco? (Can't really remember back that far.)
This is what I know: words and music by Malvina Reynolds 1962. Malvina and her husband were on their way from where they lived in Berkeley, through San Francisco and down the peninsula to La Honda where she was to sing at a meeting of the Friends’ Committee on Legislation (not the PTA, as Pete Seeger says in the documentary about Malvina, “Love It Like a Fool”). As she drove through Daly City, she said “Bud, take the wheel. I feel a song coming on.” Thank you
I am sure they will love them, what a good time you are going to have.
Well done Cindy, I'm sure your table is going to look beautiful. Hugs Yvonne
It is funny - when I read your post in the personal section - that song came to my mind - you must have been humming it - while you typed - isn't that right? Hehehe! You have done a great job with each of these - the ladies will be thrilled. *4U
Yes that song has been in my head. They were so much fun to make. The first few did not turn out so hot but I now have 20 made and I think I could do it in my sleep.
Hehehe, I hope you don't have to - but I bet you get asked to show the group - how they are made.
They are cute and the table is going to look great.
