I am so surprised to see this re-surface after over a year. This has cheered me up, the last six months have been very sad for me, having lost my husband in March,I am slowly getting back to doing some embroidery. * for you.

Thank you Dianne. I find the satin does tend to fray a bit, but I've hit on the idea of backing it with iron-on Vilene
before I attach it, makes it easier.*4U

Applique is easy Becky. It would use up all the scraps you must have left over from the lovely dresses you make for your
