I think you have doe a teriffic job Meg. I remember my girls trying to straighten their hair by ironing on ironing board. Lordy but I'm old. LOL.
What a wonderful present! A girl would love one of these.*
Meg, I am glad that I took a PEEK and saw what you have accomplished, great work, I think you did it girl, well done. You turned out a very nice project and one that can be used. A flower for your workmanship.
That is high praise indeed coming from such an accomplished sweet lady.. Thank you Loretta, hugs & roses, M
What a great work! My compliments! Very well done. *4it
Meganne, what a wonderful job you did! I think yours and ddoersch's iron caddy projects are great!
I first found the design and just purchased the silver heat resistant fabric...thats as far as I've gotten. I'm working on fsl and need the iron caddy done by Mid-May. Very nice...A flower for U!
I'm sure you will love doing it, it was so quick to do once i got stuck into it and it allowed so much artistic licence. I actually did small embellishments with Silver Metalic thread, the screw on the scissors & the power plug pins and screw on the straightener, it was fun. rose 4 U, M
If my daughter sees this, I'm in trouble. Glad you posted your source. My beautician will love this design, along with all the Elvis ones.
P.S.--How did you get the quilting stitches removed under and around your design.
Aaaah, that was the tricky part, I stitched from the edge up to the design then had to re-align the second half from the design back to the opposite side, not the easiest (or the neatest) way i guess but i didn't want to embroider through the foam and lining as i worried about the foam falling to pieces. I'm doing a second one for my curling iron and hopefully will improve on that. :-) thanks & a rose, Meganne
It is nice to see projects that we never thougt to make them before. It just the idea that we see and then we try to make it ourselves. That is wonderful and we learn a lot from eachother. ***
Yes everyone is so generous sharing their ideas, I had no idea what i would use an embroidery machine for, no daughters to make for.... guess i make it ALL FOR ME, not. :-) (Big Laugh!) thnx & a rose 4 U, M
It's very nice. Isn't it lovely we can be inspired by all the projects. Flower for you.
Yes it is so lovely coming here even just to see how talented everyone is, besides being so friendly, helpful, caring and just plain nice folks. Thanks & rose for U, M
You're giften Meganne... definitely gifted. I love this pouch. Heaven knows I could be a little more organized. ;-) A+
