The young lady is the daughter of a very close friend and one of my confirmation students from last year. The pink dress she is wearing was long which she picked up from a thrift store. She asked me to make her date a pink vest and bow tie from the bottom of her pink dress, that she had already cut off. So not having a pattern it was a challenge for me. She would come over every evening and we would work together until we finished. Her date was totally into wearing the vest and bow tie and she had a great time at the dance.
