This is my MIL, Jeanie, photographed about 20 years ago when she was about 64.

Can you see the resemblance, that I see, to your GM ? Maybe not from this one photo, but believe me it was enough to cause me to do a double take. Worse luck I didn't own a good camera back then so this is all I have. I thought I'd show you anyway. Cheers, Meganne

She looks like a ray of sunshine and what a lucky woman, to have a daughter-in-law that thinks so highly of her. You two must of had a very special bond.;)

She was very special and we were very close even thru both marriages to her $%&#@ of a son. She was more like MY Mum and she always called me the daughter she never had... She passed far too early only 4 years after this photo and I still miss her, but enough of that. She played the piano but didn't have one so we bought the organ for her 60th BD and we use to duet I Dream of Jeanie with the Light Brown Hair, That's a happy memory.

Meg, how right you are - it is amazing. Thank you for sharing this with us, they always say we have a double - now perhaps others will believe in it more. *4U, dear one.

Glad someone else can see it, Imagine adding 20 years and silver hair, all i can say is what with seeing Mum and also reading about that precious little girl (your Post) I had a very melancholy day yesterday. cheers & roses, M

OH - I am sorry if I upset you - it was one of those days - for most of us - I believe it was in the air. Hope today is better.

Nah! Not upset, just melancholy, sometimes we need to have a good cry day, it makes us appreciate the loved ones we still have and the beauty of each day we are blessed with. Besides, I forwarded that link to everyone I know.... It was truly humbling.
