I took the challenge, Cuties! I selected this beautiful floral design from CUTE and used it to work around a few *recycle-ables that I found in the house to make myself a new purse. The design was stitched on part of an old pillow sham, using a little bit of batting behind it as the fabric is a very soft ultra-suede. The red sides of the bag is the leg off of a pair of ANN TAYLOR capris. The cute floral print is a piece of .47 cent/yard vintage fabric (don't you wish you could still get fabric like this, at this price?). For the pocket on the back, I used the hemmed edge on the back of the pillow sham....instant pocket! This was fun to make. Of course, the design stitched out VERY nicely....and it is one that I plan to use again. Now, I can put away my winter purse! :)

I love this design, too...and want to do more with! This pattern is one I recently came up with...basically one piece and works VERY well with recycling pant legs into purses. I've been very happy with the results. Can't wait to see what you dig up! Remember to post it!
