This is just too cute - but I don't think that I would be able to find that "tops" or whatever it is called. I was looking really close at it, and then read the discussions. Good job.
try your local yarn shop, or spinning supply, they should carry rovings, if they have only the thicker one, splitt them yourself it is easy.
thanks for the information, but I don't even know of a yarn shop around here - of course we are in Florida.
Very creative! I love the effect of the multicolor roving and the bunnies are adorable

If you put stuffing in the ears they will stand up and out for you. I used scrap felt pieces :)
Thank you Lee, stuffing I will, lots of batting scaps and scraps from the fleece here xox, Sue
This is lovely & I too was wondering about the yarn & what the process is to create this?
OH that is ABSOLUTELY adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I too want to know if you made the coloured bottom and if so HOW???? GREAT job!
A lovely centerpiece! Did you wind wool around that ring? No idea what the carded not yet spun wool is called in English :)
Thank you. Yes, I twisted pencil roving around a styrofoam ring and set it on a glas what's it 's name. Is the roving called tops in uk? New word learned.
