hoop tear away stabilizer, place felt inside hoop, sew all of the turtle but the last outline, stop, place tail and legs on turtle and use tape to keep them in place, place another piece of felt over the turtle and then sew the last outline. Take out of hoop, trim, turn right sides out. Right click on the picture of the legs to save it.The tail is a small triangle. I used green ribbon around it's neck and black pins for the eyes.

I love this turtle and you have a great talent. Thank you for sharing this with us. I am going to try to make one. He looks fat is he stuffed with something or does it just look that way?

Just wanted to let you know.... I love this design. I have made lots to them for my Grandchildren. Did you know in Inverness, Florida they have a Cooter Fest each October. Cooters are little turtles found there.

I made one!
It's as cute as can be!
I wanted to give it to a baby whose room is in a frog theme,
so I used another digitizer's "Polka Dot", shrunk it, and used
2 as eyes, rather than any pieces that could be ingested.
You did a great job! This froggy came out so cute!

He's so cute! Thank you so much. I wonder if he would work good as a stuffie toy for a baby. Maybe use minkee and sew 2 pieces together for the flippers & tail. Use a bit of mylar in them so they crinkle.
