Great job! I just could not master this. Mine was just a mess, so I made it into a square one. I will attempt it again one of these days. I didn't post as I thought square would be boring. Hehehehe

I turned out nicely, I like your color choices, you really did a great job.
You did a great job - and aren't these fun? All but the hand stitching - but a challenge to us all.
You did a really good job. Much better than my first attempt. They are lots of fun!
I turned out nicely. I like your color choices. What website has these? I have never seen something like this. Is it a pincushion?
It is very pretty.
our very own mops gave us this design...

and there was another cutie that started showing these and we all have just followed suit. If you were to put biscornu in, you'd find several ladies' ideas. It is a pincushion. I still need to practice, but was so glad that mops gave us a 'middle' of the side as a marker to make our pinning and sewing easier.
Thank you for your kind words ladies. I did have some fun with this and can't wait to try again. Practice does make perfect...right?
This looks very pretty with the different fabric for the bottom. Well done.
Great job. I've sewn out my top and hope to get to sew it together soon.
OK, I have both pieces done, sorta know how to put it together, Dumb question. What do you all use to stuff it for a pin cushion?? I used a roll of fleece for a while, but found it made my pins dull !!
I just used poly-fil...but that may not be the correct filling. I wonder if something like rice would work...just a crazy thought...I'm not sure it would be tight enough to hold your pins...but I know I have seen them in pen holders as you leave the restaurants. and I'm quirky enough to try it one day.
Yeah...you did good and got it posted too. You accomplished a lot
Enjoy seeing another one, so pretty in cherry colors. It is a learning cuve, truely spoken - Chris.
Would like to know if it is OUT of your system now ;-)
regards Sue
No....I just want to make some more. Although I gotta admit...the button is really getting me. I hope this one stays attached.
You have done a great job. When I make my next one I will know better what to do. Well done.
Good on you for having a try. They are fun aren't they? Love Chris
P.S. Good idea having 2 different fabrics.
Mine is sick. It is so bad I won't even post it. I'll try another now that I know how to put them together. Yours looks great!
Bev
