Hoop stabilizer, place felt inside hoop, sew all of the design. Take of of hoop, trim, fold mouse right sides together from tip of nose, sew bottom seam, with needle and thread sew around the bum and gather. Cut 3 circles, 2 for ears and one to cover the bum. Use ribbom or a piece of felt for the tail. I glued the circle on the bum.

I want to thank you for the free design. I made the pincushion today. I didn't have brown felt so I used white. It turn out really cute. I used yarn for the tail and had some gold metallic thread and used that for the whiskers. Thank You again.

What a clever way to make a mouse. I always use three parts, 2 sides and a bottom. It gives a nice shape, but this is so much faster!

thank you Martine I tried to think of a way i could do it all in the hoop but this was as close as i could get.I's a simple square with one corner rounded. I'm sure someone could make it bigger for a rat...lol
