Of course I'm going to try "out of the box", It turned out sew CUTE! Made my hands cramp making it, but it just might be worth it. I resized it smaller so I could use it with my Hair Bows... I might just add a few brown seed beads to give it some bling.

Now that is really thinking outside the box. Love it. Is it done on felt?

keeponsewing by keeponsewing 12 Jan 2011

Yes, it is done with felt. After posting this, I thought about putting seed beads in the center to give it more dimension.

Great job - sorry your hands cramped making it. What did you stitch it on - so you could make it for your hair bows?

keeponsewing by keeponsewing 11 Jan 2011

Shirlene, I started with a brown felt, then added the yellow felt, then cut out the center part of the yellow and then cut the excess yellow around the petals. On the last stitches, I added a brown felt in the back, then had to cut around each of the petals again.. Whew! Did I write that so you can understand? hehehe...

asterixsew by asterixsew 11 Jan 2011

Thanks for adding this info

keeponsewing by keeponsewing 12 Jan 2011

I'm thinking of adding beads to the center, Deb, but might just glue them instead of sewing. LOL...We'll see.
