This is a monkey I made for my granddaughter, Madi for Christmas in 2009, she loves it so much & carries it around with her everywhere. I've had to replace the arms and mend a couple of times. This is a pattern I picked up from a local quilt store.

there is a pattern at indygo junction .com for a monkey. It looks almost like this one. Look under yoyo animals. It is done 2 ways, with or without the yoyos.

This pattern is Melly & Me & the monkey is called Magoo. The pattern is made in Australia. Here is their website address www.mellyandme.typepad.com I made a 2nd monkey for her this year and it looks like a sock monkey. I am going to try and download that project as well. I love yoyos. I have the one to make a dog. Enjoy!

Is that the flannel quilt the monkey is sitting on?

No. It is my 1st quilt that I made 3 years ago. It is a rail fence. I love shabby shec. It's 100% cotton that I got at a local quilt store.

Becki, I have been looking for a monkey pattern like this. I love monleys to start with, but right now I have a baby shower coming up and Mom is decorating the baby's room with monkeys. If it's not too much trouble could you tell me the company that makes this pattern so I could try to locate it. Here is my email address: rsehorse@yahoo.com
Thanks, Susan P.S. Did I mention the monkey is adorable!!!!
