Where did you find FSL ones with the loop?? I have a FSL one that fit the 4x4 hoop but no loop on top. I LOVE seahorses!

These are from stitch delight when they had their sale just a couple of weeks ago on their old site, not sure if they are on their new site I will take a look

I got the seahorse from that sale too but mine didn't have an loop to hang it with.

This is a stunning group of seahorses....they are so colorful and so different. Did you use varigrated thread on any of these.....or did you plan the changes. I am partial to the gold and white and the blue and white, the 2nd from right.....just a super job, thanks for sharing....

I did the blue and white and gold and white in the 2 color changes and the other two with varigated thread but I did use plain colors on 1 of the color changes

They are absolutely beautiful. I love sea horses. We live right by a lagoon and are so lucky that seahorses breed there. I would love to see the quilt when it is finished.

OMG, you get to see real live seahorses where you live? I think they are amazing and I would love to see the tiny baby ones!

Hi Debra, Sea horses are truly amazing. The male carries the eggs after the female has deposited them into him. Can you imagine that!!??!!

leenova54 by leenova54 30 Nov 2010

I know, I have watched videos and even when the babies are first born it showed them swimming and a fish came along and all the tiny seahorse went back into the father's mouth, it was so cool! They are a most amazing creature! I wanted to get one but was told that for just one I would need a 20 gal tank with just the right salt mixture and it takes a month before you can even put the seahorse in the water. No room in my tiny house.

I love all the colors - these will be so lovely on her quilt - how will she attach them? Great work!

Not sure Shirlener how she will attach them but I would probably hand stitch them myself
