I've made crazy quilt blocks from the designs I've been practicing on while learning to use my embroidery machine. What do you think? This is the first embroidery project I've every shared on CE.

Teri, it is so good to see that you have posted your project, finally - I love to see how this is coming together - hope you bring it with you on Friday - so I can see the progress in person. Hehehe! GREAT WORK!

Terre this is beautiful. What a great idea! It looks like you have all kinds of fabrics from velvet to linen/silk? The colors are lovely too.

Yes, I've been saving up. I've tried to use the plushes and silks too. Yard sales, old clothing, & fabric from my MIL after she passed have found their way into this quilt.

I love crazy quilts-great way to use up scraps that would otherwise be piling up unused(and I DO have alot of that). I especially love your peacock! Where, if you don't mind me asking, did you get that design? **linda**

I think it's a beautiful first project! I especially like the peacock feather.
Like Dianne I use stitchouts as quilt squares. This is quite different! Lovely!

Wow! What a wonderful idea! I've used stitchouts for quilts, but only in squares, nothing as nice as this! Love and a flower from Dianne x x x

I like the unusual, but it is pieces of fabric, old clothing. Some left to me when my MIL passed. It will be a treasure if I ever get it done.
