Thank you all for your sweet comments! Such praise from such talented people......sandy
I have never made the bear only the puppy from the same pattern. This is cute. I will have to try this one but next one I am making is the caterpillar (from a different Simp pattern) for my youngest granddaughter. Becky
Ahhh, so you have hidden talents!!!
Your Rag Bear is absolutely adorable. It has many possibilities for adding embroidery to it also. Great Job..I bet everyone you give one too is totally enthralled. ~Rita
Great Great. please where did you get the pattern from
The pattern is from the Simplicity pattern company. I have made the puppy 5 or 6 times from the same pattern. My granddaughters love the floppy ears on the puppy. This pattern also has a cat on it. Simplicity also has several other patterns with a fish that looks like Nemo, butterfly, lady bug, sunflower, turtle and caterpillar and others. I have made the butterfly for GD #3 and will be making the caterpillar for GD #4.
Here is a pattern.

Love it :):):) I saw this similar teddy for sale in an old craft book. I tried to email them to buy the pattern, but sadly they had closed up shop. Looking at your lovely quilt makes it look easy enough to make , Well mabey. GREAT JOB ")
This looks like the little nap pads that the kids had when they went to kindergarten. So cute !
Sandy, this is adorable - where did you come up with the idea for this cute bear? I love rag quilting.
Shirlene, I did have a pattern. Simplicity makes several of these. Very large. the picture is on a double bed. Each one has three or four different designs. The owl is adorable!
