Perhaps we could use a couple of layers of Stitch Witchery or Wonder Under or the like (with it's paper on, as the bottom layer) to be the stabilizer or just adhere it before embroidering
and benefit from the adhesion feature afterwards? Just a thought.

I suppose it would work, but I just sew on with a zig zag stitch...
