I made this coaster (the photo shows both sides, with a bit of graphic-program magic!) as a gift to send to the USA : the Union Flag side is simple cross-stitch in wool onto plastic canvas - I've got my Brownies making a even simpler version as Mother's Day gifts for March - and the reverse side is a simple design I drew, digitised and stitched out to stitch onto the reverse of the cross-stitch (thereby hiding a multitude of sins! :-) I'll be posting it off on Monday so I thought I'd take a photo and let you see it before it goes. I'm busy designing a collection of coasters which I'll let you all have in due course. Love from Dianne x x x
