Thank you! I bought it from Embroidery Arts. http://www.embroideryarts.com/mon...
Wow it looks great. I have stayed away from cutwork, but maybe I'll give it a go, you did good..
Thanks, I too have stayed away from it but, I highly suggest you try it. It just takes time because you have to be careful...let us know what you create!! 4U*
When this is your first cutwork you did it great, Very elegant and thanks for the explanation ion one of the answers.
Thank you - it was an easy project ... just took some time because I didn't want to poke thru the WSS ... so, it takes sharp scissors! 4U*
I think this is lovely and anyone would love to receive a gift like this. **4U
I think it is excellent for your first try !!!Keep up the great work

woow, fantastic design & very nice idea for a gift *****
Laura, this is lovely - did you also do the wing needle work, too? Anyone would adore this as a gift. *4U
Thanks, Shirlene! Yes, I did the wing needle work - that was easy - I just had to go slow to make sure it was straight. It wasn't a hard project - just very time consuming. 4U* Hugs, Laura
It's lovely! The set will look so elegant! Well done.
It looks good for first time. I haven't gotten up the nerve to try cutwork yet. Is linen the only fabric that should be used for cutwork? I hope you finish the set it will be a nice gift.
Thank you! Believe me it took me some nerve to try it - but, I love the look and now I am sold. This is actually on cotton ... you just starch and iron it a couple of times before you begin. On this, I used tear-away stabilizer on the back and wss on the top. You stitch the first stitching....take out of the machine but keep in the hoop - cut away the back stabilizer and fabric for only the holes - not cutting the wws on the top ... then stitch the last two steps. I also did the hem in a decorative stitch.
