Need help embroiding poliester lined bag, the problem is the outside of the bag and the vertical strips running from top to bottom. I hooped stickey stabilizer and then put the lining side down on it, and then base stitched the outline but the top fabric is just loose enough to make the stitching of the letters sloppy.

Your letters look good. I don't see anything wrong. This bag must be for Slippery Rock University. I live only about 20 minutes from the school.

Your stitching looks good in the picture. I had to snicker at the Slippery rock prophesy! I pray you have overcome your concerns. I would use pins. Do let us know how it turns out. Blessings!

I usually pin with straight pins along the edges. The design looks good from here. Try Pins around the edges to keep the top matl tight ! Shonna
