I knew I needed some bibs for Abby-Sue's visit. I had these placemats in my closet waiting to be embroidered on for gifts. I decided to use them for bibs instead. I just cut a six inch circle 1/3 of the way from the top,(I used a plate as my template)added some ribbing , and embroidered my designs. Unfortunately, I only had red ribbing, so all of the designs had to have some red in them to balance them out. Now, at least I'm prepared for when she's hungry!

I use guest towels, but some designs are just not suitable. The idea of placemats is great - far less restrictions as far as designs are concerned. Thanks for sharing your ideas with us!
