These turned out beautiful! I have just got to learn how to do FSL. I have the patterns and the stuff I need to do them with but until I can get my hands to works right again without so much pain, I am afriad to tackle something new like this. The antibiotics I have been taking for the out patient surgery twice weekly on my legs have my knees, hands and back (arthritis) in so my pain that I can berely walk must less anything else. That was one of the side effects of the meds. This is after I have spent years trying to get my arthritis under some kind of control. My fingers on my right hand are beginning to pull toward my pinky finger & I just about can't pick up anything. I refuse to take celebrex ever again but I found that Mon-A-Vie helped alot. I can no longer afford to buy it with all the other med. bills and my son is no longer a distributer. It was not so hard to pay all my bills until I was forced to move to the Atlanta area. My son promised to help but that was a joke. Disability does not go very far and if you get disability, you can get no other kind of help. I get almost $500.00 more than a couple of my neighbors/friends and I have no idea how they live except that their family helps them. I have worked all my adult life and I have always made decent money but this is just crazy to have to live like this. I raised my family by myself and sent my son to college and to Heating and A/C school. I never learned how to tell him no when he wanted something so he is suffering now also. I can not just give him everything he wants anymore. Now he has turned to his dad that has never been around to help raise him or help him period! His dad remarried 5 months after I asked him to get out 30 years ago. I did not! I had too many responsibilities! I did not need any more! In the 16 years that I was married, I never got a single penny from my X! I got my first job just a few days after we got married. He took my check for several years and would give me back $5.00 a week of my money. I got tired of that and put a stop to that! He was an ass from day forward! His daddy nearly had a stroke when I bought my 1st car! He told my hubby that I had no business with a car of my own. That is when I made some major changes in our lives!!! I guess I just grew up and got tired of the cr--! When I put my foot down and would not budge, period he had to change some! JUST NOT ENOUGH! My son was almost 12 & I got full custody of him. We had been married 16 yrs. and my son could not stand to be around him! He was 37 when he left home and it was not until then that his dad tried to see him some. Money talks!
Linda, sorry to hear all your sad news, hope that you will beable to do some fsl shortly, when you are feeling better. You will be in my prayers.

Well Mary, I used wash-away stabilizer folded double, if it is the thin one or a single layer of the thicker one. And I use mesh cut into a frame to hold it firm.
Her is a link to the why the mesh works.
